What this site counts about visits, how, and how to opt out.

Last updated: 8 October 2026.

What is used

This site counts visits with PostHog, which stores the data on its servers in the European Union. The browser sends the statistics to this site’s own server, which passes them on to PostHog.

What is collected

  • Which page was opened, and which address led here
  • Browser, operating system, device type and screen size, and the approximate country and city guessed from the IP address
  • A few actions on the page: switching language, switching between light and dark, reaching the end of a post, following a link to another site (only that site’s domain is recorded), and how long the page was open and how far it was scrolled
  • When a search result is opened, the words searched for

What is not done

  • No cookies are used, and nothing for statistics is stored in your browser
  • You are not identified, and your visits on different days are not linked. PostHog combines the IP address and browser details with a random value that changes every day, giving an anonymous identifier that only lasts for that day
  • Nothing is used for advertising, sold or shared with anyone else

How to opt out

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT), this site does not load its statistics code and sends nothing.
